HOW IT WORKS
Open a Markdown file or a whole folder. Your familiar structure stays in place, with no import or new library to manage.
Open a Markdown folderFollow links between your documents, then go back to where you left off. Move to the next or previous document without leaving the window.
See how relative links workA readable page at the center. Your files to one side, the heading outline to the other. Everything in its place.
See the reading windowCODING AGENTS
Read a plan, report, or README while your coding agent works. When the open file changes on disk, Aero Markdown reloads it and keeps your place. If you have unsaved edits, they stay intact until you choose to reload.
Read Markdown from AI toolsA plan you can read.
The document stays at this heading when the file reloads.
An optional local setup command lets Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf open the Markdown they write in the existing window, in the background. Codex is not included in these hooks. Aero Markdown has no AI chat or model calls.
RENDERING & PRIVACY
